I wanted a nylon string for jazzy and prog tones. It fills all my expectations well and the build quality is excellent, especially considering the price. <br \/>The sound is quite acceptable, also price considered. <\/p>\n<p>Features are excellent, with the built in tuner, pickup, and preamp\/EQ. All work flawlessly and make it nice to use. There was even a battery installed! The finish is fine and there are no defects or blems, satin not glossy, which I prefer <\/p>\n<p>Cons: <br \/>The bridge height is set rather high, making the action about 1\/4&quot; at the 12th fret, making it difficult to play. For a beginner, this would be a problem. I&#8217;m going to file both the saddle and its block lower and get on with life. There is ample material there to do so. It&#8217;s still well worth the money to me and once set, seems like it will be a fine addition to my selection of instruments. I&#8217;ll update this review once I finish that effort. <\/p>\n<p>Bottom line: <br \/>For the money, it&#8217;s an excellent value, even with the high action. If the action were controlled better at the factory, I would have given quality 5 stars instead of 4, it&#8217;s that good IMO. If it were not a fixable problem, I would have taken off more stars. If you had to pay for such a repair, it would easily cost between $50 and $100 at a shop. I would consider the possibility that it might need a little work on arrival when purchasing, so you&#8217;re not disappointed if it&#8217;s not perfect. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> I used to play classical guitar before I got into metal. <\/p>\n<p>With lockdown appraoching, I bought this as the cheapest classical I could find that had decent ratings. I figured I probably wouldn&#8217;t get back into it, but that if I did, then I could buy a much higher-end classical later in the year, and donate this cheap one to a local school or something. <\/p>\n<p>After nearly a year, I really love this guitar and don&#8217;t plan to replace it anytime soon. Action could be lower, but it&#8217;s not insanely high. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m just learning the final measures of Recuerdos de la Alhambra on this guitar now and am really happy with it.
