Good setup straight out from the box, (except 12th fret vs. flute sound). Only lifted the mics tiny bit. <br \/>Not the thinnest neck but feels ok. <br \/>Darkish vintage mics, I&#8217;d say, since they are straight copy from ones in 70&#8217;s. <br \/>I&#8217;ll change strings maybe to 11-52 in near future (few hours). Maybe D standard tune <br \/>Pots aren&#8217;t working properly yet and I&#8217;d like linear type more. <br \/>Overall feels like quality product: 8,5\/10 \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; fret finish and pots <br \/>+Paint finish &amp; overall quality <br \/>+Lovely little details you don&#8217;t find in some other brands. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> This is my first electric guitar. I am an amateur beginner and a late starter. I bought this guitar because I am a Soundgarden fan and it is the same type of guitar as played by their lead guitarist Kim Thayil. The guitar is a beautiful thing. It&#8217;s a big jump up in build quality from my Crafter acoustic. It looks great, and I am making the noises I hoped to make with it. I like the plated pickups and bridge and the fact that the quality knobs are labeled. It came with its own hard case. I do not have enough talent to tell you anything more but if you are looking for something that looks and feels solid and plays easily this will work. I read some complaints that it is uncomfortable sitting down but for me this has proved not to be true and is actually more comfortable than a couple of Gibson&#8217;s LPs and a Fender that I tried.
