Great clean tones and with a little search with the unit effects you get great modern gain sounds, too&#8230;Still not got the full 100% of what this amp can do &#8211; because of a sudden hand injury-but I tell you this little fella rocks, especially with a good pair of headphones.No problems at all with connectivity or latency, and its a fun home entertainment system too, since you can connect via bluetooth any tablet or phone and listen to music.Great feature also that you can use any backing track you have and adjust correctly the volume so you can jam with it in no time.A bit expensive though, but for the things you can do and the sounds ,I can justify the cost at least &#8230;looking forward to try with an FRFR speaker that Im willing to buy and see what its gonna sound &#8230;..for now I just put it in a wooden base (like a small furniture) so that can amplify it&#8217;s sound naturally&#8230;.but I prefer playin with the headphones&#8230;great feeling overall.Very pleased with the product although I say again its a bit expensive.. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> It&#8217;s well made and compact from a design perspective, but you cannot get away from the fact that it has 2 tiny speakers that really don&#8217;t deliver. The &#8216;portability&#8217; concept is good and the wireless works perfectly, but at low volumes you can hear your guitar strings chime and at higher volumes the sound is muddy. <\/p>\n<p>I appreciate that Boss has tried to deliver something for us rocking apartment dwellers &#8211; but at this price, it really does not deliver once you get past all the gizmos. I have a soft spot for modeling amps. Listen, I know they&#039;re not traditionally cool, but I love them. My first big girl amp was a modeling amp, and I&#039;ve actively gigged with the Fender Champ XD (and I keep it at my practice space and play it every week). The Fender Mustang GTX100 is unlike any modeling amp I&#039;ve played before. It comes loaded with over 180 settings, which include variations of different amps, different pedals, and different gain, volume, EQ, and reverb settings. And even though there&#039;s only one speaker in the amp, it has left\/right outputs and, if you&#039;re playing with headphones, the stereo effects sound fantastic to my ears. When it comes to the pre-sets, some are great, and some are fine. Few are what I would describe as &quot;bad,&quot; but even so, they show what&#039;s possible with the amp. Using the app with this amp is an absolute must. For one, it makes it easier to connect the amp to wifi and update the firmware. It also makes it possible to download other pre-sets, some of which are made by artists including Grimes. You can easily adjust settings on the pre-sets and save over the factory-included ones. It&#039;s easy enough to do this for gain, volume, EQ, and reverb on the amp itself, but I highly recommend using the app to edit the effects. With the amp, you can also build your own pre-sets. You can choose from tons of pedals (based on real pedals) and amps (based on real amps). The amps and pedals (and pre-sets for that matter) that aren&#039;t Fender products have cute and smart names that you can usually figure out pretty easily.
