This amp does the job for playing at home and I especially like the clean sound it&#8217;s bright without being harsh and overall very balanced. This little thing also has tons of gain with the four stage gain module, covering everything from a slight crunch, as the name would suggest, to a heavily distorted metal sound. <\/p>\n<p>Also, keep in mind that this thing is LOUD! At home, I rarely ever bring the volume above 1,5 as it would irritate my roommates. I have not tried it out in a band setting or ever turned it all the way up so I have no idea if it would keep up with a drummer, although I suspect it might have difficulties due to the smaller size speaker. <\/p>\n<p>I kind of wish I had gone for the version with the built in reverb and a tuner since in the end I had to buy a separate reverb pedal for those lush clean sound. <\/p>\n<p>Overall a very nice little amp with basic features that sounds wonderfully for playing at home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for amps in this size and price range. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> Not the cheapest given the features but worth the extra expense for a superior quality product. More importantly, it sounds really good from pristine clean to mega-dirty and all points in-between. The four-stage preamp that&#039;s designed to sound like Orange&#039;s Rockerverb amps makes getting killer sounds easy and intuitive; choose either the Dirty or Clean channel and twist a few knobs. The 35RT&#039;s features compliment its variety of uses. The CabSim loaded headphone out and the stereo Aux in are great practice tools, while the channel-switching footswitch jack and buffered effects loop are highly valuable on the gig; the onboard Tuner and Reverb are welcome in any situation.
