You can easily recognize that Orange does pretty good job in terms of hardware, meaning that you&#8217;ll have to put extra effort to damage this beauty. <\/p>\n<p>Soundwise, it has great mids, not a big surprise for an Orange amp of course, but you&#8217;ll have to keep in mind that this amp will give you very good mids for its size, price range etc. <\/p>\n<p>It is indeed a loud amp for only practice purposes, you can also use these for small gigs, tried and never been happier. <\/p>\n<p>I play clean tones, and sometimes very high gain tunes too, and for high gain, the amp itself would not be enough, but with a boosting pedal you can get effective results, I&#8217;m sure. However, by itself you can perform most types of sound. <\/p>\n<p>The only not 100% perfect feature is that digital reverb does not offer much, which was expected, so do not have huge expectations from reverb. <\/p>\n<p>To sum up, I&#8217;d definitely recommend this amp. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> Bought this little monster, because tired to bear my Marshall tube head&amp;cabinet around the town each weekend. Despite the light weight this combo has enough power to crush stage at any pub and make drums sound as mosquito (actually, I respect all band members and profess harmony and sound balance, but what I want to say is that nobody can drown this little one out if you don&#8217;t want to). I have AMT tube preamp in pedalboard and in overall it sounds good for me in pair with 35RT. I was shocked when I found out how cheap this amp was, I would have killed for something this amazing when I was starting out. You can set it to as low as 0.5W for quiet bedroom practice and then crank it to 50W if you&#039;re playing in a live setting. I&#039;d say the only thing I&#039;d want to see as an improvement is a smartphone app like the Boss Katana Air. Unfortunately to really fine tune FX you need to use the Boss Tone Studio which currently only works on PC and Mac. At this price point though, I&#039;m not complaining. The tone quality is the main thing at the end of the day and the Katana range knocks it out of the Ball park. Enjoy!
