Somehow, the 12&quot; Travis Toy Eminence loudspeaker and the Quilter cabinet have combined to form a whole that is bigger than the sum of its parts, producing a surprisingly authoritative bass response that belies the small cabinet size. <\/p>\n<p>Taking full advantage of Thomann&#8217;s excellent returns policy, I have been able to conduct a thorough A\/B test between this Quilter Travis Toy 12 Combo and the newly released Quilter Travis Toy 15 Combo. <\/p>\n<p>Having used a 15&quot; Black Widow equipped Peavey Nashville 400 for twenty years, I was certain that anything smaller than a 15&quot; loudspeaker would sound disappointingly &#8216;small&#8217;. But this 12&quot; equipped combo compares very well with the 15&quot; NV400 and actually sounds bigger than the Quilter Travis Toy 15 Combo! The treble response of this 12&quot;cab is also less brittle than the TT-15. <\/p>\n<p>12&quot; loudspeakers tend to be more directional, with a narrower beam of sound than 15&#8217;s, so this TT-12 combo is not as &#8216;wide&#8217; sounding as the Peavey NV400, but the complete absence of mains hum or buzz from the reverb, plus 11kg vs 30kg make for compelling reasons to turn a deaf ear to that characteristic. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> I got this amp yesterday. I have had 3 or 4 different Peaveys and also Fender amps. The Quilter TT-12 is an amazing amp. Quality, weight (only 12 kg), sound and Power (200W) in one combo.
