I can hear every note I play crystal clear, and the dynamics are amazing! <\/p>\n<p>This amp is also very versatile since it has 4 inputs grouped by two. One group is for the &quot;normal&quot; sound and the other is for the high treble sound. Each group has two inputs where one is low sensitivity and the other is high sensitivity. Not only that, but you can &#8216;jump&#8217; two (or three?) inputs at the same time. Meaning, you can plug your guitar in one input, and have a jumper cable (the short cable for pedals) inputted into two other inputs, and then you can blend the two channels using the two volume knobs for each channel! <\/p>\n<p>I still have a lot of sounds to discover in this amp, but I&#8217;m very impressed so far even though I only played it for an hour. <\/p>\n<p>One tiny con I noticed is that this amp is pretty heavy, but not too heavy. It&#8217;s light enough to carry around from and to your car, but too heavy for carrying long distances. <\/p>\n<p>All in all, I highly recommend this amp! <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"inner text-original js-text-original\" lang=\"en\" data-orig-lang=\"en\"> It&#8217;s fantastic! But the model\u2019s reputation has as much to do with sound as rarity. For instance, Joe Bonamassa, who can afford just about any amp he wants, uses a Silver Jubilee alongside a Dumble Overdrive Special. As an arena amp, you\u2019d be hard pressed to find a more capable piece of machinery. But what if you don\u2019t need a 4x12 cab or have roadies at the ready? Marshall\u2019s new Mini Jubilee is an excellent possible solution. The Marshall 2525C Mini Jubilee is a 20W rendition of the Silver Jubilee and is available as a compact 1x12 combo (reviewed here) or head (the 2525H). It\u2019s powered by three ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL34 power tubes, and\u2014decked out in signature silver and grey vinyl and chrome\u2014it exudes all the coolness of its big brother. While the Mini Jubilee is not the cheapest 20-watt combo out there, the price is not out of line within its category\u2014on the high side, perhaps, for a production amp, but on the low-mid side for a boutique offering. Like most things in life though, you get what you pay for, and the Mini Jubilee, crafted at the Marshall factory in England, is very well built indeed. For one thing, it\u2019s dead quiet. I didn\u2019t encounter any humming, tube rattles, or extraneous noises throughout my test period. The pots, meanwhile, have a smooth, gradual taper that allows for balanced and organic transitions across all volume ranges. Nice tube sound, at the same time flexible and settled in a fair price class &#8211; these are the most important infos in advance. The studiotone combo could attract all guitarists who want to use the warmth and distortion of a power amplifier at tolerable volumes. On the other hand, this amp with its 20 W also has clean reserves, which should be sufficient in most cases.<\/p>\n<p>Which brings us to the clean channel, which has quite Fender-like qualities: You can choose from fat to sparkling sounds here, with 2 voicing switches (2x for mid, 3x for treble), which effectively modify the sound. The overdrive channel on the other hand really takes off &#8211; strong, warm tube sound located between the rough British and settled American sound. The gain will be enough for most people. The Overdrive Boost channel, boosts the same sound even stronger and thus also hi-gain applications are covered. The 3 sounds share one equalizer &#8211; in the studio no problem anyway. But also for live applications it is no problem, because the gain staging between clean and overdrive is already set.<\/p>\n<p>The 12&#8243; VG12 Koch loudspeaker installed here is built in cooperation with Jensen and it fits perfectly to this small power cube. A highlight not only in the studio, but also when you have a quite delicate situation with the volume live: A recording-out with two simulated speaker types and microphone positions is located at the back. If you have to play silently, one can switch on the power soak and send the signal directly to the mixer &#8211; completely without any noise.
