Also remember that Montage is backwards appropriate for Motif XF AWM2 voices too. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, it is possible to drop your performances into &#8216;live sets&#8217; for easy selection therefore the slick &#8216;category search&#8217; function makes it easy to place shows and live sets together quickly from the 1,000s of presets\/ user sounds available. <\/p>\n<p>Now some &#8216;to-be-aware-ofs&#8217;! Firstly, there&#8217;s no specific &#8216;clonewheel engine&#8217; and, though there is a pretty tweakable rotary-effect and some good-sounding B3 emulations onboard, if you prefer the eight faders to use as drawbars you need to set them up manually which will be time-consuming. <\/p>\n<p>we would enjoy to see Yamaha introduce some brand new performance templates where the set-up and routing for drawbars and percussion\/vibrato is all done\/ pre-wired. Next, while AWM2 does a fantastic job, there is nevertheless no devoted digital analogue mode and it would have been great to truly have the killer-sounding modelled analogue engine through the Reface CS included (which seems more analogue-like than AWM2 does). <\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, we&#8217;d have liked to own seen the superb &#8216;spectral component modelling&#8217; sounds\/engine through the Reface CP and CP4 included, as they have some killer EPs, clavs and Wurlis onboard that often rival or surpass the ones onboard the Montage. And finally (unlike the Motif XF), there is no direct sampling or multi-track sequencing, simply a bare-bones 16 track &#8216;recorder&#8217; with basic modifying (hence the &#8216;Music Synthesizer&#8217;
