It has both the sound and aesthetics of classic vintage synthesizers through the 1970&#8217;s. <br \/>But I have experienced Orbital utilize it in more recent production. <\/p>\n<p>Pros: <br \/>&#8211; exemplary sound <br \/>&#8211; exceptional appearance <br \/>&#8211; exceptional feel <br \/>&#8211; sturdy <br \/>&#8211; 100% analog FM synthesis capabilities <br \/>&#8211; Basically an ARP 2600 in a smaller kind. <br \/>&#8211; CV inputs &amp; outputs for modular <br \/>&#8211; Nice vinyl hardcase <\/p>\n<p>Cons: <br \/>&#8211; You need to tune it yourself (with Guitar tuner or &#8216;Tuner&#8217; built into Ableton reside) <br \/>&#8211; Tuning can drift after a few hours. But this really is vintage that is authentic. <br \/>&#8211; Can&#8217;t control many parameters via MIDI CC. (See notes below) <\/p>\n<p>Notes: It can simply receive MIDI notes.
