Amplifier for street blues harmonica: Artec PMD3 (8 inch speaker, battery)

Some comments from people who come to the forum about this model:

Comment:

I bought this so I could sing and play guitar on the street. Found it heavier than I imagined on arrival, and definitely louder than I expected.
I ran my guitar through a Roland Micro Cube before connecting it to the input, connected the mic directly and ran my iPod through the AUX input for my backing tracks and the internal eq came in very handy and made it sound really good at home or in the street.
Very good for the price.

Comment:

I use these speakers (I own three) as practice PA units for small student bands. The sound is inferior to small Behringer speakers I’ve used in a similar price range. It accepts a lot of inputs, which is great, but it’s not a speaker you can gig with (though it might be a decent monitor). The XLR input channel is much quieter than the other two channels on all three of the speakers I have.

Unboxing ARTEC CUBIX G1R combo amplifier

Some comments from people who come to the forum about this model:

Comment:

This Amp is Good overall, it has a lot of features and a good build quality, and can be used with 10 x AA batteries which is a nice feature.
The DC adapter is a cheap chinese which will not last for long and I’m definitely going to replace.

Comment:

After a few months of use, the built-in transformer blew up! Literally, it blew up! Dang, I crapped my pants. Bought a better transformer for €13 and it’s still going after a couple years, the sound improved with the better transformer, so I considered it an "upgrade".

Cielo Cubix G2R Smart DC AMP 20W

Some comments from people who come to the forum about this model:

Comment:

You can’t complain about value for money – for the price this packs quite a bit in. For practice or casual use it’s OK. Sound is also OK mid range – the louder you turn it up the more quality suffers but the speaker handles volume quite well and there’s not much distortion. However it doesn’t look or feel particularly robust, and the unit failed to power up reliably with batteries. As this is what I got it for, it was returned for a refund.

Comment:

use in garage, all is great exept drive, but when i plug my metal dist. pedal its souns like on my valve amp, 10′-dinamic is very good quality sound. reverb is not to bad, so i can recomend it to outside use, and its light and not big
