I purchased my Takamine P5DC in April 2018. Right from the start this guitar has been admired and praised by all my guitar playing friends. I use the instrument principally for unplugged acoustic sessions with friends. It is a beautiful instrument, with excellent design, workmanship, finish, and sound. The onboard tuner is a great feature, and the CoolTube amp is top class. It is a heavy instrument, and I understand this is due to the CoolTube electronics on board. This is however a small criticism and is more than compensated for by all the positives with this instrument. Bravo to Takamine!
