it is not vst or va – it feels like an actual analog instrument, which it’s. Some would say it can’t be compared to synths that are such Juno 106 or Prophet 6 but paired with any hardware compressor it’s going to sound as good if you don’t also richer.
Can’t say it’s an all-round tool, nevertheless it works perfectly for massive ambient textures and lushes pads as well as genuine nice arpeggios. As a poor side i would emphasize having less lead and bass noises, those aren’t as aggressive and deep as you would expect for contemporary music genres.
But creating post-rock, ambient, dream-pop music etc this synth works perfectly. It has every thing to replicate 80s analog synths and so much more.
It has perfect ergonomics – most of the controllers are found regarding the front, very neat keys (though i’m not an expert pianist), 4 digital FX simultaneously with multiply signal routing. The fan sound issue mentioned by other commentators does not disturb me at all.
If you are a blade runner man you can’t pass it by.

I got my first Deepmind 6 at the beginning of August 2019, unboxing in I ended up being impressed through the significantly more than acceptable assembling quality.
I connected the midi via USB while the audio in stereo straight to the mixer. Since that time a quantity that is amazing of happened.
Midi notes/clock often fails, LFOs are not stopping and the machine keeps on playing, the only path to avoid it’s turning it off or change preset. Plus the output that is extremely noisy impossible recording good quality audio clips.
I sent it back to Thomann after a couple of weeks, and i started using it replaced with another deepmind 6, since I had been hoping in a defective product.
But nothing, I have the identical issues. Deepmind 6 is potentially an synthesizer that is amazing with amazing VCOs and amazing features. Unfortunately the interior computer software is completely disappointing, and also this is making the entire machine unusable and completely worthless.
I’m sure I’m gonna send it back once more, and change it with another product, unless Behringer itself will completely resolve the situation.
