I bought a Juno DS recently and I have to say it’s a whole lot for the money.
As well to be lightweight ( 5.5 Kg ) it packs plenty of punch!
16 part, multitimbral synth with a pleasant key bed.
Based on the FA, it has really deep editing. 4 tones/stereo waveforms per spot that can be separately routed through the effects ( up to three insert MFX and two effects being send simultaneously ).
Over 70 different FX kinds, including vocoda. Committed split vocal pitch correction & reverb/delay for mic input.
The insert effects can be connected in either series, parallel or a mixture of both ( The FA allows only one insert per spot! ).
User test playback center lets you keep up to 32 Mb of data and playback through the filters, envelopes and effects. ( The FA is not this versatile ).
It sounds warm & fat and you will download 1 expansion pack clear of Roland AXIAL.

It would’ve been nice to see some page/parameter copy functions.
Unfortunately, the NUMERIC key just acts to choose patches/performances and can not work in patch/perform edit!

Overall, unbeatable at this price!
