Hello friends!
I purchased this product into the MODX6 variation.
A few terms if you are "tormented by option."
From Yamaha there were earlier ES7 and AN1x.
In the newest tool and ready-made presets, other people while the concept it self varies, I have not yet experienced anything and actually enjoy it.
On the main one hand, it’s clear that for the real growth of most of the possibilities it may need time, having said that, if you have the slightest hint of dream – a lot of ready-made product, find the button and produce on the road.
Large responsive and understandable screen (I can match up against Roland V-synt and Korg Pa1xpro) having the ability to adjust the written text size, that will be really convenient for me personally.
A huge amount of ready-made performances (many haven’t yet been beaten) for just about any style / direction and the chance of their instant change.
the suitable number of the absolute most necessary settings, nothing more and everything is in position.

maybe not big, but not small, light, but in moderation, only for the next tier, when the solo is over the top, plus the piano is below))
Perfectly fits as one keyboard in a group for a scene (there is certainly a drawback – plastic) (.
In my opinion, Yamaha was able to create an extremely initial and different device from others.
Actually, you can’t even see something comparable in this price category if you don’t require a workstation.

Comment:

The MODX is a trimmed down version of the must more expensive MONTAGE. It provides approx 80 to 85per cent associated with top features of it larger cousin.

The noise is very decent, nevertheless not so complete as workstations like the KORG KRONOS. The strings, electric guitar and wind instruments sound quite good.

The UI screen is smartly designed and implemented. A bit more knobs which are on-board dialers would assist, but that could enhance the cost.

It is very easy to build complex soundscapes by layering various noises with movement settings to make them more interesting.

the main element bed seems a little cheap, but playable.

All in most much and it will help keep you busy to discover all its features.

I’ve been making use of vst’s for a while but I decided I needed an equipment synth in a decent budget range and went for the Monologue after watching several videos reviews. I wasn’t dissapointed at all! I actually such as the design that is vintage-meets-modern It seems sturdy without having to be too heavy and it’s really pretty simple to use for somebody who’s not a professional in synthesizers! I use it with guitar pedals getting a whole lot larger sound and it works really well!

I’ve been messing with this synthesiser for around a week now. I must admit it is a total many more to consume than i had anticipated. It always impress me personally and most likely the only minus is you cant save presets, you could just print the blank ones you have alongside the synth.

With a little bit of knowledge and imagination there is nothing that this CHEAP piece of plastic cant make… yes, in my opinion its really cheap!
