I’m a big fan of Tangerine Dream and owning a Waldorf Quantum provided me with the opportunity to utilize a wavetable synthesiser ( along with waveform, particle and granular synthesis) and try and emulate PPG-type sounds with equipment. I’m a guitarist but I love synths, I had a genuine plastic ‘Wasp’ straight back in the day along side a couple of Roland electric guitar synths.. Now I just fuss with software synths in a DAW. I saw online videos associated with Microfreak and chose to get one and I have always been super impressed, this thing is a super flexible and beast that is effective.
