I bought this as like many I’ve always wanted a an SH-101 however the classic synth enthusiasts have ruined it for the performers,

the sound is pretty close to an actual 101, the resonance goes slightly greater on the original however the MS-1 does squelch as supposed. the FM function is fantastic for breaks and adds another dimension of sound to the synth, the worth is very painful and sensitive therefore look to play around with all the dial to have the absolute most away from this particular feature.
sequencer and save features are great, additionally able to trigger the sequencer along with your drum machine

all in every, you can’t get wrong for the price, undoubtedly great addition to your synthesizer militia!

I cannot compare the synth to it’s original, and I actually don’t think this might be of any use either. It has howver I can state that this syntheszier is amazing for the high cost.

It seems great, has all of the expected features, and it is well crafted.

You undoubtedly realize that this might be a device which was designed, and produced, with love through the group at behringer.

The downsides have already been mentioned by lots of people before, being the possible lack of battery port as they do include the handle and gear for portability, but I think seeing the extra weight it’s this really is worthless anyhow. Secondly I did have some conditions that are MIDI however these got resolved with a firmware change.

Overall this is probably one of the cheapest full fledged monophonic synths online, which is definetely maybe not the worst! From solid leads, basslines and squelching that is also acid chirping, it can take it all.

For the price I believe it is a smart choice to not try it.
