Being only a barebone PCB with buttons+display on top, it does not even have the on/off button (it has auto-sleep though), but that does not stop it from delivering a serious punch. Editable parameters can be motion sequenced too, patterns could be chained and tempo and shuffle is(up that is also editable 240BPM). Has an included stand (a fold-out steel piece).
I want it’s a few of these things (however it wouldnt cost therefore little):
-channel mute
-display light
-on/off (although I think the newer PO-2x series may have that)
-more pattern spaces
-maybe better saving (if you remove the batteries, sometimes it wipes your patterns)
But I think I’ll buy some more, these specific things have great charm and usability, I also made an EP solely done on a PO-12.

I’ve been utilizing Korg grooveboxes from the electribe show for a long time and also this does everything those machines did, better and in a way that’s significantly more user friendly. I can not possibly sing the praises of the synth in the expressed word restriction with this review but I’ll decide to try.
1. It is tiny and that is not a problem. It’s easy to play as soon as you get used to it if you’re a commuter this is certainly hands down among the best techniques to pass time on a train.
2. The internal patches are beautiful and even them, they are highly editable if you do not like. And loading new samples from the ‘op.fun’ site is easy once you understand just how.
3. Great as a drum that is makeshift for real time jamming. The real time impacts lead to powerful drum that is sounding. Likewise, setting the synth to random can make actually interesting loops.
4. The look is minimal and sleek and I like it. It is rather impressive if you ask me the way they do a great deal with therefore buttons being few knobs. I thought working without a screen could be more difficult but It’s quite simple to navigate parameters once you learn exactly what color means exactly what.

The factory appears in the drums tracks are well designed, the synths are nice. These are typically many functions that allow to experiment making habits unpredictable (if you want to).

-Super little and battery power, in order to bring it anywhere
-Inspiring
-Make music and control visual and lights with one device
-It noises extremely good: synths/effects/drums
-The machine feels good whenever pressing it
Cons:
-Only two parameters can be tweaked on the synths track (to be able to design the sound)
-Only 6 notes polyphony to series midi (on module track without module)
-Only 4 records polyphony on chord track
-You cannot apply step components regarding the module track (without the module)
-Actual firmware has bugs: machine turns off, latency when switching tasks (perhaps not great for real time situation)
-Quality build: some parts just like the rotaries or your toes seem really delicate. (plastic getting damaged or rotaries escaping .)
Overall it’s a great mobile device while the firmware remains young so hopefully all pests will be fixed.
the fact there’s absolutely no display isn’t an issue. I got accustomed it within a and it really boosted my workflow and inspiration day.

but I believe it is well worth the cash since it does so much and is unlike virtually any sampler available on the market. There is level that is genuine the functions also it seems great..although the onboard presenter might be a bit better as it distorts somewhat at highish volumes. There’s absolutely no distortion in the headphone/line out so it is not a problem that is big. I have used this little beauty lot but still think it is inspiring.

primarily using for writing and improvising.
Versatile and fun groove box.
