extremely pleased with this specific as I had checked on the web and I’ve been doing a bit of research for a while. The results of all this is to select the Moog product therefore the Plus variation as the CV is had by it and Gate connections that will be of good use with my assortment of older analogue synthesizers.

For a new individual like myself this might be quite a steep learning curve so I recommend reading the documents very carefully. Including the unit needs to have a earth that is correct to operate. Should you want to play/practice with headphones you then have to have the audio out jack connected to your mixer/amp to give an earth website link even if you only want simply the headphones.

Also the placement of the Theremin is crucial. Furniture and items nearby will influence radio stations areas across the antennae so make sure it is provided by you some room. I put mine together with a flight situation with a tuner and results that are multi in it to make use of with the Theremin. Whilst the trip instance has aluminium edges. This ‘loaded’ the volume antenna so the instrument was muted. By going the Theremin far from the aluminium side it worked perfectly.

they are perhaps not faults by the way but they are just how any Theremin will interact with its surroundings so if you have actually a very little studio area this could be a concern.

Also the spacing for the records changes once the instrument settles down after powering up. 10 to 15 moments seems about right.

If you want more consistent response to the note spacing and a better range and better tone I have already been looking at an upgrade that’s available. The problem here’s that by setting up the update which calls for some soldering you shall void the guarantee. I have not decided yet if I can do this.

the system sounds great and I’m anticipating learning it. I is now able to reliably hit jumps which can be octave I’m still taking care of other periods and scales. If you’re contemplating purchasing one my view is do it. It is a lot of enjoyment but be prepared for some work that is hard you want to be a bit of good at it! I wish I may do it, only time will inform.

Comment:

First I encountered a problem. The theremin was got by me personally with INCORRECT charger. I couldn’t link it at all. It was Moog charger but also for some other product. I had been disappointed, but Thomann offered a brand new charger at no cost (regularly it costs 50 euro).
many thanks Thomann!

Than, I encountered the another issue. I have noise that is bad and sound, I was once again disappointed. But what exactly is unclear, and I wish to UNDERLINE is in EU the charger is not earthed. Theremin must be earthed. So, if you wish to use your theremin in EU you’ll want to earth it such means which you connect the line production of the theremin to your amplifier WHICH SHOULD BE EARTHED.
Now it really works completely. Lovely product.
