Comment:

I have mixed feelings on this guitar. I feel like the freeboost system is a bit overhyped. i cant even hear the difference in the raw guitar sound and the chorus mode on max volume. i can barely hear any effects when strumming the guitar. the sound of the guitar is good though. a bit harsh in on the high end, but it resonates well. i feel like the sound can be better when you change the strings for strings with a warmer tone. the guitar is very loud for its size. the playability is great but the tension on the low E string is low so drop tunings are not great. although i am impressed by this product i feel like this is not worth my money but might consider buying the electric version without the freeboost system for traveling when the pandemic is over.

Comment:

I like this guitar. It is pretty loud, and the effects are amazing. It is a pleasant thought that the guitar does not have to be made of wood to sound good. It is also lightweight.

Cons – not a big deal, but could be improved:
– The effects could be louder.
– The frets could be smoother.
– Tap tempo for the delay effect would be more preferable that a turning knob. But I know it is fixed in the Pro version, although it is 2 times more expensive.
– Micro USB for charging – it could be USB Type-C. It is USB Type-C in the Pro version, AFAIK.
– No pockets in the case (for strings/picks/lyrics sheets/charging cable/…).
– Being lightweight is also a drawback for me, because you have to hold it tighter with your hands in comparison to heavier normal-size guitars.
– As the body is quite small, it is not very comfortable for my right arm – hard to rest it on the guitar, my arm has to flow it the air. Normal-size guitars are more comfortable.
