I bought this since I had moved to Denmark and couldn’t bring my Marshall JCM 900 with me. This amp does the job for playing at home and I especially like the clean sound it’s bright without being harsh and overall very balanced. This little thing also has tons of gain with the four stage gain module, covering everything from a slight crunch, as the name would suggest, to a heavily distorted metal sound.

Also, keep in mind that this thing is LOUD! At home, I rarely ever bring the volume above 1,5 as it would irritate my roommates. I have not tried it out in a band setting or ever turned it all the way up so I have no idea if it would keep up with a drummer, although I suspect it might have difficulties due to the smaller size speaker.

I kind of wish I had gone for the version with the built in reverb and a tuner since in the end I had to buy a separate reverb pedal for those lush clean sound.

Overall a very nice little amp with basic features that sounds wonderfully for playing at home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for amps in this size and price range.

Not the cheapest given the features but worth the extra expense for a superior quality product. Although it is small, I have used it for recordings in clean and overdrive settings.
