normally when I hear of a ton of people saying how great a product is, I have my doubts. I was in need of a bedroom practice amp so I challenged everything I could within the same price range. vox 3, vox 5, roland micro cube, fender mustang, etc. Here is what I think:

If you are looking for a high gain setting at bedroom levels, look no further! It is truly remarkable how wicked this sounds at such a low volume! It has a lot of tones but really the most usable (to me) are the high gain setting and the JC clean channel. The vox does cleans better but doesn’t allow you to get those nice pinch harmonics as with this unit.

The processing is cheap plastic, but, thick enough that it seems like it could take a beating without problems. Pair that with the metal grill on the front and you dont have to worry about it when you take it camping 😉

The only problem I have is when on the clean setting I seem to get some kind of ground loop… on multiple guitars… hopefully it is an isolated problem..

Comment:

I needed something which is easy to carry and nice sounding. After I saw all the reviews I decided to buy this amp, and so far its a really great amp ! small, can be battery operated. Inside of the box was adapter, handling strap and aux cable ! Sound quality is very nice ! built in effects works well ! You can fit it to you luggage or backpack It is not very heavy and it is durable. Basically if you are looking for a portable practice amp or to bring with you to the beach or whatever, in my opinion it is the best amp for the price and the features it has !
