I have recently started playing guitar at 40 something! I wanted a simple small amp that made a reasonable sound and did not take up too much room.
My son has been playing guitar for years and was a bit sceptical, he did wonder if something so small could make a decent sound. We did some research on the internet and watched You Tube videos and it certainly seemed to tick the boxes.
I ordered it and it came to the UK in about a week (with some other items I ordered at the same time).
I am so thrilled with it, it looks very solidly made and though small feels tough. It sounds amazing and it can be turned up quite loud.
It has lots of amp choices including acoustic, clean, rock and a metal sound so it really is versatile. It has effects and also either reverb or delay (my son said it is a shame that you can’t have both at the same time).
It does have a memory and you can store your sound against the amp and it will remember it which is a handy feature.
It is extremely portable so I would imagine it would be great for busking.
You can listen through headphones (which is a feature my husband is very keen on!) and you can also plug in your MP3 or phone and play backing tracks through it.
If you have an iPhone or iPad there is a great app called Cube Jam which you can use to play backing tracks through and also record yourself and save the file – you can change the pitch and also speed too so quite handy. Unfortunately this app is not available on android though.
Very pleased with this cube!

I have a few amps of varying power and size at my house, and this small thing is amazing for travelling and room practise esp. in my second flat. Mind you, it is able to rattle the windows, it is LOUD if pushed to the limit. The sound effects are really good, the clean channel is … very clean even for classical guitar. It will take 6 AA batteries (allegedly 24 h autonomy but mine does more, of course it depends on what you do 🙂 ). ALso works on the power supply (included). Nothing to say, just hesitate on the colour, but get this if you need the features.
