Comment:

6+-month up-date: The keyboard continues to be going strong, had no difficulties with it. I almost exclusively use it to create music which is ideal for that function: affordable and simple.

I needed good quality MIDI controller for my music, merely to have a fast way to test out synth plugin sounds (in the place of looping a MIDI track). This keyboard is good for that purpose. It generally does not have features which are many which I think would not be enough for performers doing their thing real time, but they are more than sufficient for my purposes.
They keys feel well and I can quickly try out dynamics since they are velocity delicate. Regarding the down side, they truly are a little wobbly, ergo the main one star down in quality.
It has an extremely affordable cost, specially considering that I required full-size tips (I have large fingers). I was also considering Thomann’s own branded controller that is MIDI but opted because of this one, because this might be somewhat scaled-down. Easily fits on any desk and easy to haul around. Note however, that this will unfit in a normal backpack that is sized! If you’re selecting a keyboard to travel with, give consideration to a smaller one.
TLDR: I had been content with this purchase

Comment:

Not top create, nor is it clear in my experience why with such a big product they picked micro USB over a sturdy regular connector. Still it plays fine it’s more features than e.g. the better looking CME controller that may set you back a 100 euros more unless you mind the somewhat wobbly keys and.

Comment:

Keyboard arrived today in Wicklow, Ireland from Thomann,
All in good purchase, including all connectors as described, have only tried it on my ipod touch 4G so far, I’m a singer/songwriter in a musical organization, but by no means a pianist of all kinds. Myself & our lead guitarist Ash, (who can make any instrument noise good) place it through 4 hours of crazyness. Hopping between Sampletank Comprehensive version, and Nlogsynth, exactly what an enjoyable night!!
Have to state the sounds are top class. It had been had by us loud too, no distortion through my T.Amp 70 Watt Keyboard amp.
Need more time and energy to get to know all the settings etc,
there was a great experienced band running underneath, set back a little to prevent the secrets from (fundamentally) drooping, we’ll add a similar one nearer to the front advantage for any hefty fingered friends.
All in all, plenty of responsive enjoyable in a handy size, with full sized tips. For technology specs, especially you keyboard/pianists whom know what they want in a unit, Please check always all features you purchase for yourself before. We’re Very Happy with it using one day. Dangerous Dave & The Medial Side Effects

Really nice instrument. Keys have actually great quality, good feeling, action and it’s comfortable to play. Faders and pads also great.
That is my very first experience with delicate modulation and pitch tires. So, it’s not hard to use and the precision is extremely well. Great innovation.
This keyboard is truly the next step to iRig keyboards. Compact sized and very effective! Recommend as one of the midi controllers that are better to purchase.

They called me personally for many mattinee show while I had my digital piano busy in a night show. I required one thing cheap, light that was in a position to link that is straightforward my laptop sounds throught my sound interface. I am extremely pleased because it’s 100% customizeble as well as the response associated with the keys is really accurate. I was able to reproduce strings or reed using touch that is different. Wonderfull!

Comment:

The keyboard is lightweight and well developed for its price range.
It doesn’t always have the hammer action (they’ve been more costly and much heavier), and so the tips reaction is a bit linear and pasty, but good if you want to get a grip on the velocity that is key. No aftertouch though, but this really is quite common on weighted keyboard as you can add the aftertouch later on making use of your DAW.
I purchased the MK2 which has the trasport switch at the top, an excellent full piano and Ableton sequencer contained in the price. So all you have to focus on.

This midi keyboard is now my main tool in most my project recently. A expression ended up being linked by me personally pedal and has now get to be the ‘swiss-knife’ within my studio.

Pros:
– Has all of the helpful features you will need including the trigger pad, faders, rotary things
– novice friendly, works right from the start

Cons:
– no RGB illumination choice 🙂 (This is just personal preference)
– in some instances the trigger pads feel a little unresponsive to velocity not a lot of

Overall, I’m quite pleased with the gear cannot recommend highly enough to both novices and veterans to get that one (or maybe more) in the studio.

I have purchased this keyboard for my house studio. The parcel utilizing the keyboard in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova in 14 business times. Packing ended up being good. Keyboard is constructed of a matte that is great, secrets are comfortable to relax and play. 8 illuminting pads are brilliant. The thing that is best about that keyboard may be the velocity of tips and pads. Faders work perfectly. The "AUTO" mode is dealing with all my DAWs (explanation, Cubase and Pro Tools).
there clearly was no MIDI in/out, but I do not absolutely need them at the moment, which means this keyboard corresponds to all or any my needs right now with all these faders, pads and system buttons.

Comment:

I use this Midi Controller since 2013, plus it works great with any software like ableton, samplitude, komplete and i also tried it with maschine pc software.
It comes with Ignite software, which can be good, but i don’t actually use it, because it has latency problems and since the instruments do not sound real.

I love this midi keyboard.

Pros:
Highly programable, feels actually nice! They secrets are beautiful. Nearly like complete weighted secrets nonetheless they feel very close to the deal that is genuine. Nothing like those that are plastic usually find on keyboards like this. All of the knobs and faders feel great nothing much to complain about. The plugins that came with it are actually good. I’ve currently utilized them quite a whole great deal in getting the pads synths and anything else I needed from their store. Enroll your rule along with free access to them!

Cons:
Oh boy do you have to understand how exactly to make use of it. For everybody planning to understand this remember you need to understand a bit just how these work with different programs like Ableton, Mainstage etc. Be ready to sweat a bit before you get the mind around the various settings this thing has, presuming this will be very first time buying something such as this.

that said once you learn how to use it, it will it is job fantastically! Possibly the choice that is best in this cost range. Keys feel well and I feel just like I have a keyboard worth significantly more than what I payed for.

to see I have no had the problems some people on the internet were saying about it freezing or whatever. It worked flawlessly. Although at first I install it incorrect and got actually frustrated until I finally identified just how it ended up being assume to exert effort!

Comment:

I use this keyboard in studio so some of the features are not required for me yet still I’m pleased with them.
Probably the best thing on it are the secrets that are velocity sensitive and painful with an aftertouch. Those are useful for a person who is up to learning just how to play a piano the way that is closest possible to the genuine one + it contains input for sustain and volume pedals.
Bunch of faders and knobs could be assigned on whatever user could wish for. Assigning them may be a bit long process however it is invaluable for workflow.
The X/Y pad is nice and enjoyable addition for this midi keyboard that you simply can not see on others in this budget range.
All in every, CODE 61 is, for me, great keyboard for that cost. It is a bit complicated for new performers who haven’t yet worked on numerous keyboards but options to have some fun on them are countless.
And one hint for those who are whining how you can’t turn it off unless you unplug them – press and hold the on/off key for 5 moments and watch the miracle occurs.

I have always been accustomed composing music on guitar, mostly acoustic, I frequently I play indie stone.

but I purchased this system to widen my musical spectrum and compose electronic music, along with to check the other music I compose.

Pros :

– Compact : Length its only a little larger than a keyboard; I
– Connectivity : it really is really quick for connecting, it installs in under a minute
– Versatility : as it has both secrets and pads, it really does offer depth to the music. For example I want to use the keys & pads simultaneously , it creates an extremely tones being rich because of this. One must also include which you replace the octaves of the secrets, so this gives added versatility
-Keys- The tips are extremely responsive, and also have a natural feel in their mind
– Software : It comes with Ableton live lite , which is good

Cons :
– Since it has 25 tips it could limit you if you should be into playing more classical things. But also for contemporary music it is sufficient.

Overall, I are finding the Oxygen 25 great for just what I needed.

Comment:

I make use of this keyboard for home recording. It is super light weight and portable, making it perfect for transport.
It comes with a lot of features and real settings in the keyboard itself for adjusting sounds. This offers a satisfying tactile sensation and permits for considerably faster and much more accurate modification of tone/EQ/effects, etc.

The accompanying software; Xpand! and Twist, are rather diverse and considerable in their sounds, perfect for someone starting.

that is truly a starting midi keyboard, together with price reflects that. However quality, develop, feel and features aren’t sacrificed for price, and all together this is certainly a tremendously item that is solid.

Comment:

I’m using the controller as my primary composing device along with Cubase and Garage Band. I bought small one (M32 variation) because it has an inferior form factor, completely fitting on my desk, but nonetheless has a amount that is decent of. (A bit more than two octaves)
I had been surprised how good you are able to use the small keys, it is nearly ideal for me personally, since my fingers are not that long.
The build quality is pretty decent and also the keyboard feels good and sturdy. Unfortuitously my product does not stay level on the desk, meaning it somewhat wiggles a little. It does not disrupt the feel playing it therefore it is fine.
You also get quite a quantity of pc software with the keyboard. I’d used the Komplete Kontrol software already, since I’d bought two plugins from Native Instruments within the past and I love their products because they are programmed because of the individual at heart and can be utilized quite intuitively.
The free sounds and instruments that include it are quite decent if you just want to begin making music. Remember, that the delivered sounds tend to be more fitting for artists within the electro/synth genres. You also get a light form of Maschine 2. I don’t test it however.
Since I’m creating orchestral music, I did not utilize many of the delivered plugins but alternatively the plugins I’d purchase in a few of their purchase offers. It is easy to install every thing, and also as soon while you load Komplete Kontrol into a track, you are ready to go. I recommend to see the quick begin guide located on the Native Instruments Homepage along with to watch some videos on Youtube, along with it quite faster once you learn some tricks as you can work. No matter if it is quite intuitive to use most of the time, there are functions and workflows you can’t learn by learning from mistakes.
to make use of many of the features like scale, arp and parameter mapping, you should employ their plugin Komplete Kontrol. But this plugin allows you to add other plugins maybe not formally supported by NKS (I guess every VST plugin) but it’s not as straight forward once the supported plugins.

All in every its a good keyboard, particularly for beginners. This has good features compared to its cost, you have to consider, that its meant as a hardware item to be used with Native Instruments software.

Comment:

I suggest this MIDI keyboard if you work with Ableton Live 10 or above. The M32 is very easy to create and is sold with an TON that is absolute of FREE software.

The plugins it comes down with are part of the Native Instruments library and really I do find myself using them in my productions.

Build quality is great. Key travel is not massive yet still enough to offer a sense that is great whenever you are playing records.

Looks great also and you can fundamentally get a handle on Ableton out of this without really pressing your mouse. You are able to skip during your arrangement view, play & stop, record in and change channel volumes all from the buttons on this controller that is MIDI.

I purchased this piano after comparing all 61 keys midi controllers, and also this seems to be the main one with the most useful integration in Studio One.

Best:
the nice point are the keys and seamless integration along with Komplete services and products I have. It reminds me personally the sensation of a piano that is real it’s no so plasticky and appears like reasonably limited product. Another point that is good all transport buttons it has, helpful for DAW and also for the Komplete Kontrol plugin. I can get a grip on some features which are fundamental Studio One that will be what I wanted. Additionally, I need no mapping at all, I love plug and play things without messing around with setup files and so on 🙂

Cons:
It’s quite heavy and cumbersome, so you require lots of space because of it. The sound that is clicking the buttons is really noisy, actually. The small display is advantageous however it must be at the least bigger or similar to the layout of this S show MK1.
No aftertouch, which in 2019 is a standard in this kind of equipment.
I think this sort of devices can have more controls, since it has two big empty frames for each side, nonetheless it happens exactly the same with the S show.

In sum, with this cost it’s a reasonable piano that can do the majority of that I require, so I’m satisfied with it and I wish it lasts a lot of years.

This controller ended up being precisely what I thought it will be, AMAZING! Very plug that is easy play perhaps not messing around controller by Native Instruments they really nailed it with this specific it comes with Komplete 10 which is more than enough to start making some noises. It works well with Logic, Ableton, and Pro Tools. Its durable which I love (It doesn’t feel inexpensive), the tips are responsive and tend to be sensitive therefore can provide you velocities which can be different records. The displays are a big assistance and give a nice feeling you are able to modify via the knobs while you need not look to your DAW for many editing and using the mixer cause. Transport buttons satisfying and beautiful to press. I am still obtaining the hang of it and certainly will have to revise my review in per year or two whenever I has taken the most juice from it 😉 Great purchase I’m really satisfied with it.

I’m applying this keyboard with Ableton Live and NI’s Komplete Ultimate and also the experience is extremely various between those two.

I’d focus on stating that this keyboard has an amazing appearance & feel. The tips are exemplary and very pleasant to touch, the aftertouch feels just right. Modwheel is solid therefore the touch stripe is handy and unobtrusive for a number of orchestral usage instances. The displays enable you to do a chunk that is great of without reaching for the mouse. The only real hardware problem is that encoders have become close to each other if you have big fingers you’ll have to be mindful.

Now, most of the magic is contained within NI’s own instruments. If you’re a heavy used of Reaktor and Kontakt you’d feel at home. The keyboard has a few additional buttons for Maschine too however it doesn’t come with a software so those would stay unused (which is unfortunate given I’d love some more buttons for ableton integration).

Once you leave the NI world ? e.g. to use your DAWs instruments that are built-inNI is massive et al but I like my Ableton’s synths) the keyboard modifications. It nevertheless retains the DAW that is basic navigation but now it’s a VERY DUMB midi controller. No chords secret, no arp, everything is included inside the NI toolset (which can be sad provided just how good the arp that is integrated). You’re left with eight encoders additionally the piano strip.

with that said: it’s 10/10 for NIs toolset (unsurprisingly). The guide that is LED the tool picker ? everything is smooth and polished to let you focus on the music.

As soon as you are back again to your DAW it’s 6/10. It is not too bad ? e.g. you certainly can do arp with ableton and you can load your other VSTs inside the KK’s tool so they would avail associated with the extended feature set. It’s just that the keyboard does not anymore feel as capable. Low-level Novation instruments would easily beat it with regards to raw midi capabilities.

Bottom line: worth the funds if you’re greatly investing into NI instruments too.

Hey. I bought it half a ago year. S61 it just for training on the piano making use of Cubase MK2 I use. My first MIDI keyboard=)

Looks very decent. high-quality plastic coated with matte paint that is black colored the buttons regarding the control panel have become pleasant to the touch, while having a backlight that doesn’t strike the attention. Work responsive.
Knobs nice and extremely accurately work when setting any parameters or recording automation, as well as when you touch them from above(have sensors) – show other parameters.
2 display on which all demonstrably visible, you are able to configure the brightness, when setting to 100per cent they’ve been extremely bright=)
Komplete Kontrol the provides a lot of content to generate music – personally, I really like "a Gentleman" and "Massive".
Keys with aftertouch – the possibility offers to creativity of ideas=) the secrets of very nice material very quiet and also a pleasing sound once you push on or perhaps touch.
LED GUIDE is a very good feature.
For six months I have actually 2 times updated the firmware MIDI keyboard. and also often head out on bug fixes any products from Native Instuments.
Recommend!

My first MIDI keyboard – which I enjoy.

extremely pleasant to the touch, pushing and softness. They are like genuine piano mechanics, but nonetheless stay half-weighted. NI realized the technology that is perfect get because close to hammer mechanics as you possibly can. I am a pianist and I feel it, really pressing that is soft smooth and sensitive. For the purchase price, it is a fantastic item. Yes it is plastic all over, nevertheless the create continues to be quite sturdy. There’s nothing end that is high it needless to say. Nevertheless the keys and knobs have a feel that is nice them, and I find playing onto it a pleasure. The display that is small it a little bit difficult to navigate the settings regarding the keyboard. Although that is not actually a challenge because I would rather use the computer to manage the keyboard, and never one other method around for me personally. The real strong point of this product could be the software compatibility, and simple of good use.
