    Comment:

I’m blown away with the price, quality, sound and playability of this little parlor guitar.

It should be three times the price!

I’ve always wanted a Mahogany parlor guitar to add to my collection and was originally looking at the Mahogany version when they introduced the Exotic Koa and Flame Koa editions.

I’m so glad they did. The Exotic Koa apart from being a beautiful guitar to look at sounds absolutely gorgeous!

It’s a well built solid guitar that’s finished perfectly and is an absolute dream to play.

The short scale makes the light gauge strings feel like you’re playing extra lights and I love the slotted headstock and black and gold open gear tuners which are precise and stay in tune perfectly.

The Fishman Sonicore pick up and Presys II pre-amp with built in tuner sound great when plugged in and is simple to use when dialling in the perfect amplified sound.

I opted to pay an extra 45€ to have a professional set up done on the guitar before it was shipped out as I’m 63 and suffer from arthritis in my fingers so need a very low action to be able to play barre chords up the neck comfortably and I have to say it is one of the best set ups I have ever had so hats off to the technical team at Thomann. Your workmanship is second to none!

Cons: I’ve been playing this guitar daily for a week now and still haven’t found anything I don’t like about it.

It’s even taken over from my Taylor Academy 12-E Nylon Guitar as my daily go to and will definitely be my faithful traveling partner from now on.

I will be doing a full video review of this guitar on my YouTube channel very soon. 🙂
