Let me start off by saying I have played acoustic guitars for almost a decade now and I did not buy this product because I was looking for a very cheap guitar. On the contrary I was looking for a good acoustic guitar with a reasonable price that would at the same time fit my budget range (which was not higher than 500 EUR). I started off by venturing into local shops and trying a plethora of acoustics from different brands (mainly those that were available on Thomann). The first and most important criterion for me was the tone, warmness, and depth of tone. I am a lover of the 70’s folk artists and I was looking for something that would compete with Martin D28 and/or Martin D45 in terms of tone, blind-folded.

It is great that Thomman offers sound samples for the guitars, otherwise my purchase would have been unfruitful. I started the blindfolded test with this Epiphone here and whole lot of other Epiphone models up to 200-300 EUR and almost any other brands available on Thomann in that price-range. As mentioned before, my comparison was in principle out of balance, because at the top of the pyramid I had Martin D45 and D28 as the reference tone. After a few days of listening to the samples, I realized Epiphone DR-100 is really the best thing I can get in this price-range that would still have that vintage warm tone with enough depth.

The lows and highs are all clearly felt and you always get that interesting vintage haze in your chords.

I used to have 130-Euro acoustic before this purchase, and by all means this Epiphone owns that one — in terms of playability, it’s remarkable and simply brilliant. The guitar itself is very loud and has a pleasant tone.

If you want a finishing touch on your purchase, add a set of strings to your cart based on your taste and it’s guaranteed that you’ll get the old sound you love.

For such a low price, this instrument is pure GOLD. I highly recommend it to both beginners and professionals. You won’t regret!

Yamaha builds great guitars and basses – that is now well established. Especially in the fields of acoustic guitars and electroacoustics, we can expect a very high quality uct.

The folk series had the task of ucing something reliable alongside the modern APX and contemporary models. The classic shape (with and without cutaway), tried and tested wood types and good workmanship ensure that the guitars sound fantastic when played acoustically or, if necessary, amplified.

The F310 is a typical folk guitar for a truly affordable beginners’ price. Its spruce top, meranti body, nato neck with a rosewood fretboard – which cannot possibly sound stale – make it not only affordable but downright cheap for a guitar that nobody needs to hide.
