I bought the larger Delta Blues O model as a practice guitar, but I was so intrigued by the sounds I heard from this little guy that I also put it in my basket. What the hell, such a low price, it was worth a punt. Both guitars were delivered quickly and in good shape.

Setup was perfect, just some oil for the fretboard, bridge and a quick fret polish was required. I think if you were to buy this hoping for a typical guitar sound you may be disappointed, but this is also its strength. It really does have that tinny Delta blues sound, with an almost resonator/banjo-like tone.

I put medium Bronze strings on it, along with a bone nut and I play it in open tunings (D,G) with a heavy brass slide and metal fingerpicks. I give it a good bashing and it really does sound convincing! As a slide guitar it is very, very nice and I am spending may happy hours noodling away on it.

The tuners are not the best but they keep it in tune. Other than that, I am really pleased with it.

So, not a guitar replacement IMO, but a little extra tasty sauce to have at the ready. For the money, it’s a winner.

I had gas for a nice little acoustic travel guitar and saw rage Delta Blues T . Based on reviews it seemed quite good and was super cheap so I went for it.
Glad I did . Honestly , I cannot believe the quality and sound of this little guitar. It looks great and is so fun to play. Has a nice popping sound to it.
It blows my mind how it can be this cheap . It stays in tune well , is light and easy to bring pretty much anywhere you want.
I’m exited to see how it will hold up in a years time. But if you have some spare change and are looking for a cool little guitar , you need to get this !
Around the same time I got the Martin backpacker which is also a great travel guitar in its own right . But if I suddenly had to do a solo acoustic set and had to chose Bergen that and the delta………I’d almost have to go with the Harley Benton !

The Harley Benton HBD 120BK is an acoustic guitar in the dreadnought construction style and which comes at a sensational price. The bottom and sides are made of sapele, and despite the fact that the laminated spruce top may not be as large as on other models, it uces such a powerful and clear sound that you could hardly expect more from such a well-priced (really!) guitar.
