Sonzera 20 is sold out in all local shops, therefore I had to purchase mine at Thomann without having a chance to try it first. There was a significant hiss on the clean channel even with volume all the way down. I contacted PRS tech support, and they suggested that changing the V1 tube might help. Therefore, I replaced the stock tube with EH 12Ax7. The amp is much quieter now. Overall sound is great, not as loud as I feared. The clean channel is very Fendery with lots of headroom. The lead channel with gain down sounds great, much better than I anticipated based on the online reviews. Overall a great amp, only wish I hadn’t had to swap the V1 tubes. If you are looking for a versatile, great sounding combo, this is it.
