Some comments from people who come to the forum about this model:
Comment:
As a workhorse midi keyboard and controller its great.
The keyboard seems good and all sorts of other hardware too except for the sliders, they feel a bit low priced.
the 2 issues I have are that the sequencer is truly cumbersome to utilize. Actually very much designed for people playing 4 beat loops which can be locked 100% to the grid. With a bit of perseverance it is possible to work it into an workflow that is ok but overall its uninspiring and will not lend it self to reside use at all. I really wish they improve it with some updates.
The other could be the Novation Components sofware/web app. This is also an overly piece that is basic of this will not match the price point regarding the keyboard at all. Actually annoyed by this. Is like somebody telling me to build a home of cards with one hand tied behind my back.
For those interested in the CV abilities, I’ve found they work quite fine. The midi-cv clock conversion is reliable additionally the pitch monitoring works fine.
therefore in conclusion, if you’re wanting a studio control hub it is great. If you are wanting a live performance device, it’s still one of the best options, but don’t expect much from the sequencer.
Comment:
The best quality of Keys i have ever played on. The Sequencer and Arpeggiator onboard are excellent. Construction not surprisingly from Novation is very good. A must in the studio !
