Digital Piano Clavia Nord Grand Full Review. Is it a good choice?

Digital Piano Clavia Nord Grand Full Review. Is it a good choice?

Clavia Digital Musical Instruments (Clavia DMI AB) is a Swedish manufacturer of virtual analog synthesizers, virtual electromechanical pianos and stage pianos, founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1983 by Hans Nordelius and Mikael Carlsson. Since 1995, Clavia’s keyboards have been branded Nord. Now, we are going to review the Clavia Nord Grand, one of the best options of a digital grand piano.

  • Responsive Hammer Action (The weight of the keys on an acoustic piano that digital pianos try to imitate to match the touch of a real acoustic piano. The keys in the high register are heavier and in the high register less. This is a different concept of sensitivity on the keyboard that serves to regulate the volume of the note. But a hammer action keyboard always has sensitivity on the keys.) keyboard with really good quality
  • Piano that comes with Synth functions
  • Comes with three Selectable dynamics curves
  • OLED display
  • Two GB memory with the Nord Piano Library
  • Transposer (Transposition allows you to move the note spectrum of a keyboard. This allows you to play with transposing instruments. It is not an easy concept but it is made to facilitate the writing of an orchestration for instruments with very different bass and treble registers.)
  • 512 MB for samples of the North Sample Library
  • Transitions function with no gaps
  • 120-Voice polyphony (Number of notes that can sound at once. This includes songs that sound at once. So if you play over an accompaniment sound, more notes will accumulate.) for the piano sounds
  • Layer and Split (Split the keyboard into two different instruments) functionality with Split (Split the keyboard into two different instruments) point crossfades
  • Creative Piano Filters to adjust the sound character
  • Dynamic pedal (The most important pedal of a piano or keyboard is the sustain pedal and is used to keep the note playing even if you stop pressing the key.) Noise with North Triple pedal (The most important pedal of a piano or keyboard is the sustain pedal and is used to keep the note playing even if you stop pressing the key.) (included)
  • Stereo effect section with 2 blocks for modulation effects
  • 3-band EQ
  • Master Effects with reverb (Reverberation effect which is a reflection effect of the sound) (Room, Stage, Hall) and Delay
  • Connections: 2 audio outputs-jack, unbalanced
  • 1 Monitor input mini jack
  • Headphone output
  • Input for control pedal
  • Input sustain pedal
  • midi (MIDI allows you to do such wonderful things as connect the keyboard to the computer, record a soundtrack and with certain programs pass with a click what you have played to musical notes in a score. MIDI tracks store information from musical notes) in/out connector
  • USB device
  • Nord Triple Pedal of 2 kg weight
  • Included Nord Piano Library and user manual
  • Dimensions: 1286 x 168 x 387 mm and a weight of 20,9 kg
  • dimensions of the pedal: 264 x 224 x 70 mm
