I ordered this tele on a Wednesday night and I got it less than 48 hours later on Friday. That was quick – thanks Thomann.
After I unpacked the guitar, the first thing I noticed was that the fret edges were really sharp ; too sharp for comfortable play.
So, I taped off the fretboard and sanded the edges a bit ; all OK now.
I also had to set up the guitar : truss rod, bridge saddles. I managed to get a nice low action.
The nut is much lower than on my other guitars. That makes the action really low for open chords, but it made setting up a low action at higher neck positions a bit more tricky. Anyway, a very good guitar for the money, but it needs some work ; it took me about an hour before I got it all set up perfectly.
The body of this guitar is heavier than that of the HB tele kit that I assembled some time ago. But that is a good thing ; no neck dive.
The finish is perfect. No clear coat on the neck, which makes it very smooth – good.

I have a Small budget. My old guitar is from 1996. I used to play Gibson 335 and Les Paul copies. After years I want to try single pickup guitar. After thinking of it, and almost a year saving money, I purchased the Fender Squier Affinity Tele 2TS at Thomann.
It arrived very quickly, almost the same day. Good service!

It needed some work to adjust this wonderful instrument to my taste. Ernie ball 0.09 is good on this.
