Comment:

I use this guitar for practice and home recording solo parts that involve whammy bar

Pros: every feature is as presented, no shortcomings. Delivery was fast and secure, packaging is well done. The tuning was a quarter of a note off, probably from traveling, but the intonation was perfect. The floyd rose plate is aligned with the body. The pots work without any crackling noises. The Grover tuners are genuine and very precise. The locking nut is solid but you should never tighten it too much. The finish looks spectacular with no flaws whatsoever.

Cons: The ebony fretboard is strangely dry and you can hear your strings scratching it when bending them, very unpleasant. I found that mineral oil should fix this.
The pickups are good, but not pro level yet. They are noisy, you will need your noise gate turned halfway up. The neck humbucker/single coil sounds very good on cleans but not so good on distortion. The bridge humbucker/single coil is the opposite. The middle position is workable on most of my tones.

This guitar has the potential to become my main instrument, after lowering the strings, moisturizing the fretboard and checking the signal grounding, maybe do some shielding which I hate doing. Also I need to boost the mids of my amp because these pickups don’t sound very big.

Comment:

Great looking and sounding guitar, equiped with a proper Floyd Rose. The pickups sound great and will not change them in the near future. The tone knob has great range and the neck pickup is honestly what I was looking for. The split coil optin is great to have, too bad it’s on a awkward place (tapping the tone knob would be a better option IMO).

The finish on the neck is great and the profile is really confortable for me, same with the freatboard. 0 pointy frets and great tuners.

Some minor complaints are the output of the bridge pickup (around 80% of the neck pickup, not sure if it’s intend or if it’s poor setup from my part) and the knobs/switches don’t feel very good.

The only fault I found was when going to the bridge position, sometimes I get no sound. I need to use the switch in a specific and firm way so I don’t get muted on a solo.
