Pros: Looks great, ESP LTD body shape, 8 lbs, 5 oz (about 3.77 kg). Inexpensive…cost less than the Wolf WLP 750T 2020 seen on the Internet, and in my opinion this guitar is better (as I ordered that Allinone Wolf… and sent it right back). This is also far better than the poorly made SC-Custom II Vintage Black that I had received a few weeks earlier. The finish on this Lemon Flame is close to flawless, nice and glossy, so I guess the attention to detail was greater with this guitar than with the matt-finished Vintage Black despite all its gold trimming. This SC-Custom guitar model is also serial-numbered, which I guess is a plus. Finally the pickups are useable and the action is good.

Cons: The bridge is probably the cheapest the factory could get their hands on. I had to fight the larger than usual stiff screw heads with a larger than usual screwdriver to get the high E and B strings set up tonally, so I would say the bridge needs replacing pronto. Also the strings make a nice scratching sound against the frets when stretched so I think the fret material is somewhat cheap. This scratching wears away after a spell of usage, which might be saying something about the lifetime of the frets (and I’m using D’Addario EXL120 9-42)

All-in-all this is a good guitar, I’m satisfied with it. I’ve retained my faith in Thomann and may well purchase another Harley Benton in a couple of months time…this depends on if/when I get my refund for that SC-Custom II Vintage Black I sent back credited into my bank account.
