Comment:

I own 2 Esp guitars and recently decided to get the ltd ec black metal.I was not actually expecting that it would be so good comparing to my Pricy esp’s ,This is my first Ltd.
Im using all my guitars for mostly black and death metal , This guitar delivers exactly the purpose .
Excellent craftmanship ! Considering the price paid and usually poor or mediocre expected quality from indonesian market instruments This is not the case as it easily stands straight to face to more expensive guitars. So in this case you will not pay for the trademark , the quality is more than satysfying.
The Instrument had no flows..in every and any detail. It has solid built, excellent neck shape(at least very convenient for me) and fair -balanced weight(not lightweight/not extra heavy). The pick up is powerfull and brings out very nice frequencies and articulation.
Do not underestimate the fact that it has only one pick up since it gives multiple different options to sound variations considering the picking technique as well as the push-pull option and volume control.
I strongly believe that the specific pick up delivers for lower tunnings despite of the short scale of the instrument.
The ltd locking tunners are working well and there is no reason to change them to go to any other brand.
In addition and to my surprise it came perfectly adjusted and i did not had to even touch the truss rod or intonation saddles.
The only con i can barelly give is that the Ebony neck is not that dark as You can find in pricy Esp guitars with ebony neck but at the end of the day for me it doesnt matter at all and probably is related to the respective wood choise from manyfacturing country.
This guitar has nothing to envy from expensive Esp Guitars, If you are looking for a solid instrument to have as workhorse get this guitar and you ll mark my words.
It is an absolute pleasure to play with this instrument, I stronly reccomend.

Comment:

I think there is nothing to add to this guitar’s review. The quality is excellent, it is quite easy to play and super light. Even if it comes with only one pick-up I have not noticed any issue and it sounds pretty well. Regarding the package and the shipment, everything was fine-thanks to Thomann for this! Guitar case is not included, it would have been great to have something included. I can only recommend this guitar for the moment!
