Genial Epiphone y genial Thomann

Got this guitar today and the overall quality for the price is great.

The aesthetic is awesome, the electronics don’t need any upgrades and the pickups are a matter of taste. This is a good replica of a PAF type of pickup, maybe I’ll go with a couple of Suhr Aldridge for a more aggressive soundoutput, but I don’t know yet. I’ll try this for a couple of months. And I really love the 50’s neck!

On the downside, there’s one or two spots where the quality of the finish could be better but Its a <€550 guitar… so nothing that i wasn’t expecting. Also the setup could be better, mine came with the low E fretting all over, so I need to tweek it a little bit.

But if you want a LP Goldtop without spending a lot a € and without feeling you need to spend big bucks on moddingupgrading… This is It!
