Comment:

As usual the guitar arrived in super quick time from Thomman,I’m in the UK , only 4 days great work guys.Upon opening the box I was awestruck! Superb quality of finish, not a single flaw or defect. The guitar was perfectly intonated but of course I adjusted the action to my preference .What a neck, the roasted maple is to die for, silky smooth, beautiful stainless steel frets perfectly finished, smooth as butter machine heads, perfectly fitted Floyd nut.Genuine Floyd Rose trem at this price is unbelievable, and tuning stability is brilliant. The veneer finish on mine is astounding. The Roswell pickups are ok, but I planned on fitting a set of DiMarzio’s I have already, but that’s purely a personal thing anyway! I will be replacing the switches and wiring as I always do.Other than that playability is spot on,and with the few upgrades mentioned this is a guitar which should give any upper end Charvel / Fender / Jackson more than a run for the money.Well done Harley Benton and Thomman very, very pleased, many thanks.

Comment:

The features, quality and the sound this guitar provides for the price is incredible!
It’s well-built, plays well from the box and feels great.
Pickups are ok but if you are into this guitar (and believe me it is very possible you will) it would be better to swap it for something better.

But there is always a but:

The electronics and the shielding are TERRIBLE. The tone potentiometer is merely dead out of the box and there is a graphite shielding in the control cavity but it is pretty poor.

To sum up – this guitar is great for the price despite the bad electronics and "not so great" pickups. But it is easily fixable and for the additional ~100$ you’ll get a guitar that outplay more expensive competitors.
