purchased this guitar about a month ago, really suprised with charvel’s features (compound radius, neck graphite reinforcements, locking tuners, great sounding bridge PU although is a duncan designed ) in a 500 euro guitar. But when I played open strings (B,D,A) , there was a strange metal buzz/rattle (not fret buzz , I checked it).Turned out to be the nut (cheapish- generic material from the factory) that caused all this horrible noise (note: I play with daddario xl 11 to 49) … So strongly recommend swapping this out for a tusq xl one from graph tech

A must-have for heavy rhythm players. This has replaced a super-Strat (that cost over twice as much) as my main instrument for punk and metal. They could charge double the cost for this instrument and I would still buy one. The pickups carry a lot of punch and work very well with my Marshall DSL and Peavey 6505. The neck pickup is also surprisingly rich and clean going into a Vox AC15 and Fender Twin, although some players may find the lack of a tone knob discomforting.
The only drawback for me is that there was a slight blemish on the neck and headstock finishing.
