Comment:

After reading and watching reviews went for the CV70s. I’m a beginner, so its hard to know what to expect.

Setup out of the box was poor. I have had to adjust about everything. Disappointing, as I went for Thomann cause of the good stories i heard about how they deliver well setup guitars. I’m satisfied with the overall build and looks.

Somehow i have not managed to get the typical strat sounds that I hoped to find. Of course part of that is my lack of skills, but it seems the pickups sound very flat and not as clear and bright as i have seen them on the online reviews. Hopefully i will sort it out, without having to mod anything.

Conclusion: nice guitar, but I wonder if i was unlucky in maybe getting a not too good examplar.

Comment:

My first guitar. Good enough quality for beginner’s guitar. Should also make a good platform for mods like better electronics, Seymour Duncan pickups and Japanese locking heads. Decent deal but not spectacular.
